Teams, 28km, 40km and 65km: You have options to pick up your race pack, but it MUST be before race day. It’s an early start before the race and you need to be prepared and ready. At the briefing and race pack collection, you will:
- On your EventsPlus registration profile complete the mandatory gear checklist and watch the briefing video. On completion you will be issued a certificate that you can show at bib collection
- Collect your bib and timing chip
- Leave your drop bags in dedicated zones (excluding Option 2 - Tribe & Trail)
The three options that are available for this are below. Please note you will need to select either ROAM Distillery, Tribe & Trail, or Midland Junction Arts Centre as your race pack pick up location when you register.
Option 1: Thursday 20 August between 3:00pm and 6:00pm at ROAM Distillery, Morangup.
- Drop Bags can be left at this location.
Option 2: Wednesday 19 August and Thursday 20 August at Tribe & Trail, Leederville. Race pack collection must be done within store trading hours, between 10:00am and 5:00pm on Wednesday and 10:00am and 7:00pm on Thursday.
- Drop bags can't be left at this location
Option 3: Friday 21 August between 3:00pm and 6:30pm at Midland Junction Art Gallery.
- Drop bags can be left at this location
We have provided more options to attend the briefing and race pack collection than before to make it easier for you during race week. We are looking at a postal service option in the future.
Teams: Get your whole team to watch the briefing video in EventsPlus, so everyone knows the information needed.
The briefing and race pack collection needs to happen before the event in case of any changes to race day – we want to give you as much notice as possible, and the morning of the event is too late, particularly with no phone signal at the start lines.
MANDATORY GEAR CHECK
There will be gear checks on course, and if you do not have that item then you will not be able to proceed. You can upload photos of your mandatory gear on to the EventsPlus registration portal, pre check-in. Once achieved you will get a completion certificate that you can save to your phone and show at bib pick up.
Alternatively, you can complete your gear check with the crew at Tribe&Trail, in the weeks prior to the event, they will also be present at the bib pick up.
EVENT BRIEFING
The bulk of the briefing will be an online video. In addition, on Friday 21 August between 3:00pm and 6:30pm at Midland Junction Arts Centre, your event directors Shane and Mitch will give you some final updates on the course and requirements.
DROP BAGS
On Thursday 20 August between 3:00pm and 6:00pm at ROAM Distillery, Morangup OR Friday 21 August, between 3:00pm and 6:30pm at Midland Junction Arts Centre, you can drop off your race drop bags. Make sure they are clearly labelled with your name, bib number and the drop bag location. Accepted size is a Woolies / Coles cooler bag. For the finish line a normal backpack is acceptable.
We offer a drop bag service for all the aid stations and finish line for all distances.
PLEASE NOTE: There are NO drop bags at Tribe & Trail if you choose Option 2.
