Please note the Walyunga National Park gates close at 5:30pm so if you don't get back in time your car will be locked in the park over night. You can park at the front gate and walk to the start. Please note this is 2.5km downhill. If you do choose to walk down use the parallel gravel fire track so we recommend that you wear your Hi Vis vest and headlamp.
We have a charter bus going from Swan Valley Adventure Centre to the start lines on race morning. To give you 45 min pre race the buses will be departing:
- 65km 4:40am to Walyunga National Park, Boongarup Pool.
- 40km 5:40am to Walyunga Scenic Lookout, Ewing rd, Brigadoon.
- 28km TBC to Copley-Dale rd, Gidgegannup
Please note the bus will not wait for late comers. Please note we have budget accommodation available at Swan Valley Adventure Centre for $50/night. You can book via the Events Plus Online Shop.
Additional buses will run from Cobbler Pool back to Swan Valley Adventure Centre after race presentations. Departing approximately ~5:30pm and ~8:15pm
Please note you need to select that you are catching the bus A.) too the start B.) from the finish and pay the associated additional fee. You can purchase the tickets during the registration process or at the online shop.
We encourage carpooling, you might be able to arrange this via the Team Transcend Private Facebook group
You can catch the train from Toodyay to Midland or Perth, check website to confirm the below times as they are subject to change:
Please note the train station is 17km from the event finish line. Unfortunately, the train passes less than 1km from the finish line but won't stop there...
We do love that you have the opportunity to take the train back through the valley you have just ran through. It is also a great way to save carbon emissions.
You can book a room at Swan Valley Adventure Centre, via our Events Plus Online Shop. Room sizes have 1-4 beds. Each bed is charged at a rate $50/night.
Please note these rooms are basic but are a great low cost, convenient option.
