On Saturday the 19th of June participants will come to pick up their race packs pre race briefing which may be overwhelming for us to complete in an efficient manner. If you are likely to be available and are open to offering a helping hand we would love your assistance. Contact us below for more details.
To make sure participants can be accounted for, given the opportunity to refuel and seek first aid we have aid stations approximately every 10km on the course. The main stations are:
1.) Start line, Walyunga National Park
2.) Avon Ridge Estate Park, Brigadoon
3.) Walyunga Scenic Lookout / Paruna Wildlife Sanctuary
4.) Paruna Wildlife Sanctuary
5.) Guildford Grammar Strong Hills
6.) Valley Campground, Avon Valley National Park
7.) The finish chute at Cobblers Pool
To make sure we are aware of where the final participant is on course, de-flag the course and pick up any rubbish that may have been dropped we will have a sweep runner(s) on course. The shortest distance is 12.5km, let us know if you are keen.
If you have a first aid qualification and want to help us provide the safest event possible. Get in touch we would love to have you on board.
There is nothing better than running out on course and coming past someone playing music or putting a show. If you have a talent you want to put on display get in touch, we would love to spice up our event with some special touches.
We have 65km of course to flag and 7 main points on the course that require infrastructure to be set up and taken down. Many hands make for light work and a much more efficient process.
