This year you can arrive anytime between 4:00pm and 6:30pm to commence your registration process.

Please note this will also be the pick up / drop off point for our event buses this year. You may leave your car at this location.

WHY is the briefing the night before rather than morning of the event?
1.) You are racing on what is close to the shortest day of the year and you are starting in darkness. It is much easier doing check-ins during daylight.
2.) We need to issue a GPS tracker for all teams and solo 65km runners, 40km hikers, check mandatory equipment for everyone and do a briefing which would make for a very early and hectic morning.... Lets relax and enjoy it.
3.) If there are any significant changes to race day we want to give you as much notice as possible. The morning of the event is most likely too late.
4.) There is no phone reception at the start line which makes setting up trackers very challenging.
MANDATORY GEAR CHECK
Friday 15th of August 16:00 - 18:30pm
All individual ultra competitors and each team need to show a pack with ALL of the mandatory gear to proceed to bib pick up (Teams can share a mutual kit).
Please note we can not guarantee we will have supplies of items required to purchase at the event if you don't bring all items with you. Please note this is an in-depth process and may take considerable time to complete. For your safety we need to ensure this is completed. Alternatively, you can complete your gear check with the crew at Tribe&Trail, in the week prior to the event, they will also be present at the opening ceremony.
RACE PACK PICK UP
Friday 15th of August 16:00 - 18:30pm
Please come in to pick up your race bib and GPS Tracker. We will be taking photos of the runners and using them on your live tracker race profile. Another great reason to get your whole team to the briefing.
The individual / team GPS tracker that is issued, operates independent of your phone. This tracker has an additional inbuilt safety S.O.S. alert. It will also allow us and your supporters to keep a close eye on you out on course. We are excited to offer this as it is not a common feature in local events.

EVENT MANDATORY BRIEFING

Your event directors Shane and Mitch will give you some final updates on the course and requirements. Please note that all team members are required to attend. This will be done via a short video clip that you will watch for 10 minutes in the lecture theatre before exiting.
CARB LOADING
Friday 15th of August 16:00 - 18:30pm
We have a Pizza van and also a shakes and slices van that will be at the Opening Ceremony. Please support them for making the effort to come out and give you all options.
Then hopefully a good nights sleep before the big adventure!
